After one week in big town, we really needed a quieter and greener place. We found this in Niagara on the Lake, very nice little village, with lots of flowers and so quiet (far away from Toronto). The average toursit age is probably around 60, Labour Day is passed and kids are back to school.

Thanks to Daryl's invitation, we don't have to worry about finding a place to spend the night in Toronto. So we stay a few days, walking around downtown, having fun in Canada's Wonderland and even to have some eyeglasses made...

We leave Canada's actual capital to reach his very first: Kingston. In this town was born the first prime minister of Canada: John A. McDonald. We will visit his house but before that: go to the blues festival!

Our very first visit in ontario is nothing less that the canadian capitole : the city of Ottawa.
For practical and economical reasons we choose to park the car in its sister city from Quebec : Gatineau. It's a 20 minutes walk from Downtown Ottawa, and Gatineau offers free parking for 2 days for tourists. It's just what we need !
